As a wife/mother running a home when your husband/spouse is far away either
for an official duty, or working in a different state or living oversees is not
easy, it could be overwhelming especially when the children are still little
and you have no one to help. The key thing here is never do everything all at
once, from experience even if you try you discover it is never complete,
there’s always something left to do. Instead brace yourself and make use of
planning, it really works. Here’s a peep on my daily and weekly plans.
Daily Plan
Morning devotion
Hygiene for me and my baby
Breakfast
Bonding, lunch, diner
Cleaning the home
Weekly Plan
Mondays-cooking in large quantity
Tuesdays-Dusting/Mopping
Wednesdays-Laundry
Fridays-Bathroom cleaning
Saturdays- Shopping/outings
Sweeping/dish washing is on daily bases
When your husband is around this plan still goes only the meal choice is
different, always call 1 hour before his close of work to confirm what he would
have for diner, to avoid making diner twice and to make diner fresh and
hot.
On the other hand if you still cannot cope with handling the home alone
despite your planning, there is nothing bad using a helping hand.
